Spend a week building the little red wagon from your childhood. Learn to mill lumber, safely use a variety of power tools, and incorporate hand tools as you build a family heirloom. Build skills in time-tested joinery and create a traditional-style wagon suitable for carrying gifts, little ones, and precious memories alike.
Darren Stevens is a retired schoolteacher and woodworker of twenty-two years. He builds furniture in early American and Shaker styles and has a particular passion for hand-tool woodworking. Darren's philosophy is to use the tool that is best for the job and to be open to new ways of doing things, whether modern or traditional. As a woodworker, Darren mostly builds tables and cupboards, but has also made tall clocks and chairs. While he's primarily self-taught, he also recognizes that much of his inspiration has come from others along the way.
