Amanda Taylor is a glass artist from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The closeness of the Canadian Rockies always had an influence on how she experienced life and approached her work. From the time of her first exploration in kilnformed glass, she loved creating landscapes in glass. Amanda worked as a geophysical technologist in the oil industry for 30 years before moving to the USA in 2008. She has been working and teaching primarily in kilnformed glass since 1994 and solely focused on glass since 2007.
