Student Materials: Please bring the following: - Old towel to protect your lap and an old towel to wrap your willow in while you work - The studio has basketry tool kits, but if you have your own tools and wish to use them, feel free to bring (label with your name or initials) - Pair of secateurs or garden clippers - Traditional willow tools if you have them: Bodkin, Rapping Iron and knife - Notebook for taking down instructions and techniques

Instructor Materials: - All Willow for Baskets - Selection of tools to borrow

Sandra Kehoe is a basket weaver, teacher, and willow farmer based in NJ and NY. She has studied the craft of basket making across media, but now works primarily with sustainably farmed willow and wild foraged willow bark both grown and collected at Willowbrook Basket Farm. She teaches basketry across the country in private schools and workshops and loves promoting and passing down the traditional skill of basketry.
