Student Materials: Please bring the following: - Fabric of your choice for main body (e.g. Vintage linens, old garment, cloth you have woven or dyed, dress fabric) - Embellishments - Sewing machine (available in the studio) - Basic sewing supplies: pins, fabric scissors, embroidery scissors, needles, thread (beige and a color to match your main fabric) - Craft glue (like Aileen’s) - Fiberfill & stuffing fork (usually comes in the bag of fiberfill) *Instructor will provide all other tools and materials

Instructor Materials: Kit with remaining necessary materials

Equipment Needs: Sewing machines Extra donated fiberfill Sewing toolkits

Ann Hord-Heatherley is a mixed-media figurative artist who lives on a small farm near Asheville, NC. She creates lifelike figures using primarily hand dyed and vintage fabrics. She is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild and Go Figure Figurative Art Guild. Ann has shown and sold her work in numerous regional galleries and art shows, including the Folk School's Fall Festival, the Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands, and Ariel Gallery in Asheville. www.annhord-heatherley.com
