Christopher Kearns boasts over 40 years of expertise as an accomplished leatherworker, earning recognition for his outstanding work. Having served as the president of the Pitt Pounders Leather Guild for 11 years and currently holding the position of president for the Raleigh Leatherworkers Guild for the past 8 years, he has been actively involved in teaching during the hands-on work sessions at monthly meetings. In collaboration with Tandy Leather, Kearns has conducted classes within both State and Federal prisons, contributing to skill development in diverse settings. Beyond regular guild meetings, he has extended his teaching efforts to guild members and demonstrated leather tooling leadership at the Lazy Daze Festival in Cary, NC, for 5 of the past 7 years.
