Student Materials: Please bring the following: Quilt sizes will vary; fabric requirements are approximate. Minimum: six fat quarters or six 1/3yd cuts quilting weight fabric 1yd each color for border and binding 2 yd backing Standard: fourteen fat quarters OR fourteen 1/3yd cuts OR 1 Layer Cake 1 yard minimum each color for borders and binding 4 yd. backing NOTE: Advanced participants may choose to include pieced or improv blocks in place of larger or small squares. Bringing extra fabric to explore all options is encouraged.

PLEASE NOTE: This class is for 12-17 year olds to attend with a parent, grandparent, or guardian -- 1 youth per 1 adult. To register, you MUST purchase adult and youth spots as a pair, one youth per one adult: $670 (adult), $330 (youth), $1,000 (combined).

Susan Skuda enjoys nothing more than sharing her passion and joy for quilting with others. She is known for her enthusiastic teaching style, enjoyable, stress-free classes and for nurturing others' creativity and skill. With a background in education, Susan has taught an expanding repertoire of quilting, sewing and machine embroidery over the past twenty years to students at all levels and with differing learning styles. Her proudest moments are those "light bulb" experiences when students realize they can achieve what they might have previously thought impossible.
