Equipment Needs: Rock Room - Tables, chairs and access to water - Broom treadles with #24 cord, toolkits, borax, bleach, towels, toolkits.

Create several functional and decorative whisk designs using color and varying construction styles to take home a cache of whisks, along with the know-how to create more on your own. These highly useful and beautiful gems of the sweeper world put the fun in functional and make fantastic gifts. All levels welcome; some hand and upper body strength required.

Max Hendry is a full-time instructor and artisan of historic handcraft, specializing in brooms and basketry, with a focus on using natural materials. With over 40 years of experience as a professional teacher of fine and performing arts in private, public, and magnet schools, Mark travels across the country, teaching all levels of students from age 3 to 93. He is currently director and resident artist for Mountain Heritage Handcraft in Blue Ridge, GA.
