Refining Your Art-making Process (Intergenerational / July 26-31)

Ignite your imagination and explore the realm of possibilities! Go through the steps of creating a finished piece from brainstorming methods, researching, to value breakdowns, color theory, and more! This will help you strengthen your ideas and concepts, boost your art fundamentals, and save you from major backtracking later down the road. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting on your art journey, you will take something away from this class.

PLEASE NOTE: This class is for 12-17 year olds to attend with a parent, grandparent, or guardian -- 1 youth per 1 adult. To register, you MUST purchase adult and youth spots as a pair, one youth per one adult: $670 (adult), $330 (youth), $1,000 (combined).

Imani Spence is a concept artist in games and animation and an illustrator with a passion for sharing her craft with others. She prides herself on giving her students a solid foundation to start their artistic journeys so that they, too, can spread their wings into their own creative ventures. Every journey has its challenges, but she does her best to keep things fun along the way. Imani is a graduate from Piedmont University with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts who, along with her other endeavors, is also a private art tutor and a teaching artist at the Suwanee Art Center in Georgia. When she’s not teaching, you can find her dancing, sewing, or finding a new way to improve her craft.
