Student Materials: Please bring the following: BASKETRY -All materials provided by instructor Estimated materials fee: $40 COOKING - Notebook & pen - Wear closed-toe shoes to protect feet from drops and spills - Head covering (hat or bandanna) - Hair ties for long hair Estimated materials fee: $30 DYEING -bring comfy shoes for standing -several gallon-sized Ziplock bags -note-taking materials if desired -a thin-tipped black Sharpie -and a pair of reusable gloves (like dishwashing gloves) -If you want to wear a mask when handling dyes, please bring one for yourself. Estimated Materials Fee: $45 WOODWORKING -Dust mask, eye protection, and ear protection -Long pants and closed-toe shoes to be worn in the shop Estimated Materials Fee: $35

DYEING with Jessica Kauffman 
Create beautifully hand dyed linens suitable for outdoor picnics or daily use in the home. Learn a variety of dye techniques using fiber reactive dyes on plant fibers like cotton flour sack towels, napkins, and small tablecloths (provided) perfect for dining on grassy fields or picnic tables! Shibori, Ice Dyeing, and Low Water Immersion techniques will be taught in a wide array of color combinations, from subtle neutrals to wild rainbows. All tastes welcome!

New to home cheesemaking? Craft two of your own soft cheeses and learn about elements impacting taste and texture along the whey!

WOODWORKING with Scarlette Rouse
Start with a natural edge board and design a lovely charcuterie board that you can be proud to use and show off with your friends and family. Become familiar with shop tools, design your board, and cut it to size and shape. Finish by sanding and sealing your new charcuterie board.
