Lan Brady found woodturning about twenty years ago; the addiction was immediate. While most woodturners lean toward the artistic side, Lan leans toward craft. He is a member of the Carolina Mountain Woodturners and is an enthusiastic demonstrator. Lan turns items from our past, our heritage, and our roots-what's old is new again!

Bob Moffett became interested in woodturning in about 2002 when he took a turning course at Alamance Community College under Bill and Jim Wallace. He has since taken many workshops and classes and demonstrated and taught at numerous clubs in the Southeast, the John C. Campbell Folk School, and the North Carolina Woodturning Symposium. Bob learned how to turn multi-axix platter from Doug Fisher. Bob is past president of the Piedmont Triad Woodturners Association, past treasurer of Chapel Hill Woodturners, and a member of the AAW. His works are in many private collections and have been sold at galleries and craft shows throughout North Carolina.
