Watercolors are easier than you think! This carefully designed class will help you get comfortable creating a variety of paintings. Create a number of finished paintings as you expand and refine your understanding of best practices. $

Joe Synan has been a painting student at the Studio School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, TX for 12 years. He has completed 16 painting classes at the Folk School, as well as classes at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Colorado and Truro Center for the Arts on Cape Cod. Joe has been a volunteer instructor in painting for The Art Project, Houston, which enables homeless persons to create and sell their paintings. In addition, he has created and led painting classes for women's recovery centers in Houston. He has been selected to show his art in a number of art shows, including the Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival and at the Folk School's Fall Festival.
