Mitchell Jones is from central Kentucky. He learned how to turn wood in Gatlinburg, TN in 2014. Since then, he has taught and assistant-taught at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and at craft schools across the southeastern U.S. He enjoys turning a piece of lumber into a cherished keepsake and continues to be in awe of the process.
