Student Materials: Please bring the following: - As much fabric or as many garments as you’d like to dye over 4 days. Must be made from cotton, linen, bamboo, hemp, rayon, viscose, modal, or cupro, or any combination of the above. A little spandex or stretch in the blend is fine! - Apron - Clothes & shoes that can get dye-stained  - Rubber gloves (long, kitchen type)  - Safety glasses  - Particle face mask or respirator 
Instructor Materials: -fiber reactive dyes -dyeable blanks for sale -melting trays for ice dyeing -ice

Jessica Kaufman has an MA in crafts education and is the owner of WAXON Batik & Dye Studio in Asheville, NC. With over twenty years of teaching experience, Jess has taught textile and fiber arts to summer campers, school children, highschoolers, and adults up and down the east coast. Her enthusiasm for teaching is apparent in every class she leads. Jessica also founded HappyGoCrafty.com, teaching knitting and other crafts in New York City and North Carolina.
