Teresa Brittain discovered glass beadmaking in 1995 and was immediately fascinated by the movement of hot glass and the shapes that evolve. Her glass bead jewelry is available in galleries and on Etsy, and her beads have been included in several books. She is an active member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, where she currently serves as Chair of Heritage and Outreach. Teresa is Executive Director of Friends of Literacy, a nonprofit dedicated to helping adults and children improve their reading ability. Teresa credits the Folk School with introducing her to other favorite hobbies, including dyeing, spinning, knitting, and weaving.
