Robin Ashby trained as a bookbinder 8 years ago and fell in love with the magic and inspiration of marbling which pulled him into his current practice. In marbling, he trained with Regina and Dan St. John of Chena River Marblers, as well as various marbling artists in France and Germany. He teaches in and around the Brandywine Valley region of southeastern, PA. He has some of his marbled papers in the permanent collection at the German National Library in Leipzig, Germany.
