Jeanne Whitney attended Cornish School of Art and the University of Washington. She has illustrated over twenty children's books, the latest being "A Seed Story: or the Curious Odyssey of Cisco the Seed," which she wrote and illustrated. Over the years she has done portraits, landscapes, and murals. She is a member of the Woman Painters of Washington, The Portrait Society, The Northwest Watercolor Society, and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Jeanne has grown up and raised her family in the Pacific Northwest, enjoying her children and their many animals on a small farm with her husband, Bill.
