Easier on the wrist and fingers than a standard calligraphy pen, students of all skills and abilities can use the pointed brush to make lovely, expressive marks.

Drawing inspiration from European medieval manuscripts, embellish letters with Celtic beasts and knotwork, botanical motifs based on Gothic ivy leaf, white vine and acanthus leaves, geometric filigree patterns, and diapered backgrounds. Give dimension with blind embossing and make your work shine with traditional and modern gilding techniques. Materials to encourage exploration of various media provided; neither drawing nor calligraphy experience is required. $
