Description

Create a beautiful eco-printed bag, a fun pleated hat, and possibly a small vessel. Use natural Merino wool top and the wet-felting method combined with botanical contact printing. Eucalyptus leaves print in a bright beautiful color. Look for leaves–high in tannins–on the Folk School grounds that will also print nicely. Experiment with leaves and plant matter that, when bundled and simmered for a period, make wonderful leaf prints on your felt creations. Expect some physical exertion/standing.
