Learn how to clean and prepare copper, use a jewelers saw, pierce designs, rivet pieces of metal together, and more. Making your own wearable art is as easy as 1-2-3!

Learn different methods of layering, primarily in sterling silver sheet, to create three dimensional construction. Begin by designing and making samples of different approaches to dimensional layering. Then, apply those same fabrication methods to create additional samples that also function as clasps. The goal is to make a total of approximately four samples that can be finished out as time allows. Intermediate levels welcome; basic sawing and silver soldering skills required. $

Combining blacksmithing and jewelry-making, this course offers an opportunity for beginning and advanced students, of any interest, to develop their skills as they forge and craft a Damascus ring with a silver liner. Begin by forging a piece of Damascus steel–a particularly beautiful and ornamental steel filled with folds and distinctive patterns–then shape that steel into a ring blank to be lined with silver.
