Equipment Needs: The Cooking Studio appliances include: five stovetops (some gas, some electric), four commercial convection ovens, a dishwasher, commercial refrigerator, freezer, and a sanitizer. Access to a hearth and two wood-fired ovens (one indoor, one outdoor) is available upon request. This form uses the fluidity of prose as its structure and the imagery and compression of poetry as its engine. Explore the power of a well-wrought sentence and the turn of a tale. Create mandala patterns in cloisonné enamel using transparent and opaque colors. Compose concentric designs, traditional or contemporary, work on 3-inch copper plates using silver cloisonné wire and silver foil. You may work on jewelry-scale objects if you choose. Also, accompany your making time with reading and writing haiku poems. All levels welcome. $
