Student Materials: Please bring the following: - Scissors - Ideas for designs (pictures, books, or drawings might be helpful) - Any feltmaking tools/equipment that you may have (please label with your name or initials) Students may bring their own fiber, understanding that they will be advised on the "feltability" of such fiber and the chances for success in using it. Feel free to contact the instructor in advance to discuss. ESTIMATED ADDITIONAL MATERIALS FEE: $25 - $35, if using instructor's wool exclusively. (This may be more, if students make more than specified items.) The instructor will also have some materials for sale to take home. Work with wool from the instructor’s heritage breed Navajo Churro sheep that grow beautiful shades of brown, gray, black, white, and tan, and combine it with merino in many dyed colors. See what happens and how these different kinds of wool behave in different combinations: Churro on Churro, merino on merino, and on! All levels welcome; some physical stamina required.
